Between the city of Ramatuelle and the beaches of Var, in the center of two hectares of greenery and pines, hotel La Vigne De Ramatuelle has maintained its homey atmosphere through two generations of family. Once here, moms choose between the shaded terrace or the pool area within a wild garden for a calm lunch.
Since she took over for her father, Alexandra Samuel has put her heart into making sure the guests taste delicious food directly from the garden. Planted with the greatest respect for the land right next to the AOC vineyard home, it will soon grow tomatoes, melons, and white zucchini. Meanwhile, she supports permaculture by selecting the best products from local farmers and draws the inspiration for her dishes from those products. For us, vegetable tarts, zucchini marinated in house tamari and gomasio- a succulent mixture of crushed, roasted sesame seeds and salt. Choices for small tummies include : strawberry-raspberry smoothie, sesame-breaded fish, homemade fish nuggets, burger and fries, and homemade ice cream and fruit for dessert.
An infinity pool with one side sloped allow children to wade into the water to their own depth or they can play with the mascot of the house, Drogba the dog, 50 kilos of gray-brown fur and love. Calm toddlers love to join Alexandra in the vineyards to cut the ripe grapes. High chairs are available.
