The Décor
Le Touquet Paris-Plage is a posh and friendly seaside resort on the Côte d’Opale less than three hours from Paris and only one hour from Calais Eurotunnel. It has always been the ideal haven for families in need of space and fresh air. Wether you go for a walk along the beach or on the forest paths, everything is within a few pedals: because here we move on bicycles, in all weather and at all ages.
The Property
This beautiful house, typical 1920s architecture of Le Touquet, is a 3-minute walk from the city center and the Market Square. It was converted into guest rooms and a cottage two years ago by its owners, a Parisian couple who are fond of decoration. It feels like home, and that is exactly the goal of the hostess, Audrey François, 24, who cherishes her guests with homemade breakfast and custom made table d’hôte. Every day the head chef brings himself up to date with his guests, and willingly prepares favorites for children, who are more than welcome here. In keeping with the the house’s latin name for “rest,” Villa Haec Otia will donate the revenue of the high season to a foundation which will aid children with blood disease and their families to a relaxing stay.
For Kids
For small families (4 people), the suites are ideal because they are all equipped with a comfortable sofa bed. Large families choose the cottage : a cozy apartment for four to six people with a fully equipped kitchen and access to the garden and pool from the house. Notice that the removable floor of the swimming-pool can be adjusted at will so that the children are able to touch the bottom. Cribs are available on demand.

The covered market is open Monday, Thursday and Saturday: have a drink at 1.00 PM on the terrace of the Hotel des Arcades keeping an eye on the kids enjoying the playground slide.
